4-Day Western Desert Tours: White Desert & Djara Cave Adventure

Our day begins at 7:00 am, waking up and enjoying breakfast before dismantling the camp. We then embark on our morning drive, crossing the Karween Dunes until we find the asphalt road. From there, we drive for 55 km and then venture through the desert once more to reach Djara cave. Following a picnic lunch beside the cave, we resume our journey through the desert to Abu Muharik Dunes, where we set up camp in the middle of the dunes. After building our camp, we enjoy dinner before settling in for the night under the starry desert sky.

Waking up at 7:00 am, we start the day with breakfast and the dismantling of our camp. Our journey begins with a morning drive through the majestic Abu Muharik Dunes, for approximately 550 km in length and known as the largest dunes in Africa. We traverse around 100 km through the desert until we reach Drab El Rayen. Along the way, we enjoy a picnic lunch amidst the breathtaking desert landscape. Upon arrival at Drab El Rayen, we set up camp for the night, where dinner awaits us under the vast desert sky, providing a tranquil setting for our overnight stay.

Our journey begins with a desert drive to Wadi El Hitan, for 65 km and taking approximately 45 minutes off-road to reach the site. We hike through the breathtaking landscape, exploring the fossil-rich Wadi El-Hitan and its ancient treasures. After capturing memorable photos and visiting the Wadi El Hitan Museum, we continue our adventure to Magic Lake, Following our exploration, we head to Tunis village for lunch, followed by a visit to a pottery shop. Finally, then  back to Cairo
