Salalah is known for its beautiful beaches, such as Al Mughsail Beach, with white sands, turquoise waters, and dramatic cliffs. The coastal area is also home to frankincense trees, which have been historically significant to the region.
Salalah has a rich history as a center of the ancient frankincense trade. The nearby archaeological sites of Al-Baleed and Sumhuram are UNESCO World Heritage Sites that testify to the city’s historical importance.
