Start in Cairo with visits to the Great Pyramid of Giza, the Sphinx, and the Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM). Then, dive into the city’s rich religious history with a walk through Islamic and Coptic Cairo, and stop by the impressive National Museum of Egyptian Civilization (NMEC), home to the Royal Mummies.
Explore Saqqara and Memphis, the ancient capital of Egypt, renowned for its pyramids, tombs, and statues.
Travel north to Alexandria, Egypt’s coastal gem, where Greco-Roman ruins meet the Mediterranean Sea. Visit the Catacombs of Kom El Shoqafa, the Bibliotheca Alexandrina, and Qaitbay Citadel, built on the site of the ancient Lighthouse of Alexandria.
Upon arrival at Cairo International Airport, our representative will meet and assist you with all formalities. You will then be transferred to your hotel for check-in. Enjoy free time to relax or explore the surroundings at your own pace. Overnight stay in Cairo.
After breakfast at the hotel, our tour guide will pick you up at 7:30 AM for a full day of exploring Ancient Egypt. You will start at Saqqara, home to the Step Pyramid of Djoser, the world’s first monumental stone structure. Next, visit Memphis, the ancient capital of Egypt, where you will see the Colossus of Ramses II and the Alabaster Sphinx.
Continue to the Great Pyramids of Giza, one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World, and marvel at the Sphinx. After exploring these iconic landmarks, Lunch will be served at a local restaurant before returning to the hotel for an overnight stay.
Enjoy breakfast at the hotel before heading to the Grand Egyptian Museum for an in-depth visit. Discover its magnificent collection, including treasures from Tutankhamun’s tomb, royal mummies, and thousands of artifacts from Egypt’s ancient past. Lunch will be at a local restaurant before returning to the hotel. Overnight stay in Cairo.
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and transfer to Alexandria. Upon arrival, visit the Catacombs of Kom El Shoqafa, an ancient underground necropolis blending Egyptian, Greek, and Roman styles. Continue to the Roman Theater, an impressive amphitheater dating back to the 2nd century AD.
Next, visit Serapeum, the remains of a temple dedicated to Serapis. Afterward, enjoy lunch at a local restaurant. Visit Qaitbay Citadel, a fortress built on the site of the ancient Pharos Lighthouse. Check in to your hotel in Alexandria and enjoy an overnight stay.
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and visit the Greek-Roman Museum, home to a rich collection of artifacts from Egypt’s Hellenistic and Roman periods. Continue to the Bibliotheca Alexandrina, the modern revival of the ancient Library of Alexandria.
Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant at 1:00 PM, then transfer back to Cairo. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel and rest. Overnight stay in Cairo.
After breakfast, begin your Islamic Cairo tour with a visit to the Citadel of Salah El-Din, a historic fortress offering panoramic views of Cairo. Explore the stunning Mohamed Ali Mosque, also known as the Alabaster Mosque.
Continue to the Ibn Tulun Mosque, one of Cairo’s oldest and largest mosques, featuring unique Islamic architecture. Afterward, visit the Egyptian Museum, home to a vast collection of artifacts, including the treasures of Tutankhamun. Lunch will be at a local restaurant before returning to the hotel.
After breakfast, explore Old Cairo, starting with Ben Ezra Synagogue, an important Jewish heritage site. Visit Saint Virgin Mary’s Coptic Orthodox Church (Hanging Church), a historic Christian site known for its beautiful architecture.
Continue to Abu Serga Church, believed to be built on the site where the Holy Family stayed during their flight into Egypt. End the tour at the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization (NMEC), where you can see the Royal Mummies Hall. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant before returning to the hotel.
